Code of Conduct

Last updated: 13 May 2026

1. Why this exists

TheMotorGuild is a curated, high-trust network. The value of the community depends on every member behaving with integrity, discretion, and professional respect. These rules apply to every role — members, recruiters, advertisers, consultants, and admins.

2. Respect

  • Treat every member with courtesy. No harassment, slurs, or personal attacks.
  • Disagree on the substance, never on the person.
  • No discrimination based on nationality, gender, faith, or background.

3. Confidentiality

Discussions, member lists, internal documents, and contact details inside the network stay inside the network. Do not screenshot, forward, or repost private conversations without the original author's explicit consent.

4. Integrity

  • Represent yourself, your role, and your company accurately.
  • Disclose conflicts of interest when contributing to discussions or reviews.
  • No fake reviews, fake endorsements, or undisclosed paid promotion.

5. No solicitation or poaching

The Directory and member profiles are for professional connection — not mass outreach. No spam, no scraping, no off-platform poaching of members or candidates outside of the formal recruiter and consulting workflows.

6. Content standards

  • No unlawful, defamatory, misleading, or sexually explicit content.
  • No content that exposes confidential commercial information of third parties.
  • Cite sources when sharing news, data, or research.

7. Reporting

If you see behaviour that breaches this code, report it to conduct@themotorguild.com. Reports are handled discreetly.

8. Enforcement

Breaches may result in a private warning, suspension, or permanent removal from the network at our sole discretion. Serious or repeated breaches will result in loss of membership without refund of any paid services.
